Open D Tuning (Guitar, Intermediate)

From E A D G B E standard tuning:

1. Tune the Low E string down to D;
2. Leave the A string at A;
3. Leave the D string at D;
4. Tune the G string down to F#;
5. Tune the B string down to A;
6. Tune the High E string down to D;

7. Strum all the open strings: You are playing a D major chord;
8. Fret all the strings at the 5th fret: You are playing a G major chord;
9. Fret all the strings at the 7th fret: You are playing an A major chord.
