Jam Session Rewind: 208m -- The Riff Rocker!

Today's Rewind is Jam Session 208m (6:38; see original show notes).  This jam session came about with the simple notion of coming up with a simple chord progression, then deconstructing the chords into little guitar riffs.  That's pretty much riff-writing 101 (for those who have riff-writer's block).

Jam Session Serving Suggestions:  Many times it's economical and useful to buy used gear, but be sure to try 'em out to make sure the equipment works fine.  The same is true for new gear, since you might get a lemon.  Make sure the retailer has a good return policy, just in case.
