Dictionary: Gbdim Chord


On the rare occasion you find yourself in a scale that contains the B double-flat and D double-flat notes, the G-flat diminished chord might be useful.  For most other situations, the F#dim chord might be the better name to use.

Dictionary: F#dim Chord


You can possibly think of the F# diminished chord as a D7 chord, without the D note.  Here's an alternate, non-F?-A?-C? spelling of the chord, which might work for certain scales:
